that's not even a comparison, and i shouldn't need to explain it.

I know but it just shows the terrible drafting by Baalke these 12 draft picks will most likely be punts and most gone in a few years.

Well let's hope for the best for a dozen good doughnuts this year...instead of a maple bar, a cinnamon twist, and a bunch of owl scat with one leg that might or might not be good in the last year of their rookie contract...

The one thing about this year we are all over the place. The last couple of year we had a good idea who we were drafting. This year a lot of names are out there.

In my opinion I think most are smoke screen so teams behind them think they arent going QB. I think we are QB. I think 49ers would take either one now.

Im starting to like Wentz over Goff. Goff reminds me of Alex smith too much. Skinny kid with small hands. Now word is Goff has put on more weight but still. Give me the Big guy if I had to pick. (I just want to make this clear I dont want to draft either in the top 10)

I don't see the Alex Smith/Goff comparison at all. The issue with Smith's hands were overblown and neither his hands or size are an issue. Smith came out of college as a 20 year old playing in college spread offense. Alex's issues to me is he is risk averse. Can't/won't throw into tight windows. Goff is playing in pro style offense and makes the kind of throws from the pocket Alex Smith doesn't consistently make.

Smith didnt become that type of QB until 4-5 years later. I dont know just for some reason i see a Smith comparison. Small hands are a big issues, prone to fumbling.

We will have a top prospect no matter which six are taken first. Like most here, i'm hoping Goff is our guy, but even if not, we'll still have a solid prospect.

I would like to see Stanley but understand why we go QB. If all 3 are gone I think I dont mind DE Buckner, CB Ramsey.

No to MLB Jack and CB Hargrove(florida kid), and WR Treadwell.

Kap and Gabbert locked in for the season. The 9ers will most likely pass on a QB in the first round.

Not necessarily
They could draft Goff or Wentz if still available and look to move Gabbert for a later round pick to a team needing a proven back up or even just release him. They can still go QB with the intent of sitting the guy behind Kaepernick for a year or two, and who knows maybe with a young hungry kid on the bench gunning for his job Kaep will start to play like he did when he took the job from Alex. I think one of Kaeps biggest problems has been complacency since Alex left.

I'm surprised at all the talk about us still trading Kaepernick. I'm not sure if Analyst and Talk Show host really believe it will happen or simply just wish it would happen. That or they are so starved for football topics to talk about they can't let it die. We're not trading Kaep for anything less than a 2nd round pick or equal value to it, and no one in the league needs a QB bad enough to make that trade other than maybe Denver.

All I here though is analyst saying Denver has the upper hand in negotiations because they're the only one at the table. That would be true only assuming the 49ers are desperate to get rid of him which clearly they are not so really the upper hand is with the 49ers. They have a QB and a high enough draft position to go after one. Denver is the team without a QB and to far down in the 1st round to likely get one that could play this year. They are the ones that will get desperate for something sooner rather than later.

The 9ers wanted too much for a Kap trade. Only Denver was on the table but didn't bite. I highly doubt that Baalke, York or Chip are looking at a QB in the first round this season but one never really knows when it comes to 9ers' picks in the drafts.

I hope its not a QB. I dont mind taking one in the 3rd or 4th rd. Im not a big fan of Goff or Wentz. Either way we should be adding a talented kid.

Well Anthony Davis is applying to come back. He is just waiting. He also bashed Baalke again.

They need to trade this guy and draft Stanley. AD is a head ache.

His value isnt great right now but I bet we can get a 3rd or 4th rd pick for him especially if we do it for next year draft.

I would not trade him. I would rather just let him sit on his behind for the remainder of his contract for acting this way.
