The Leader eats first, gets the biggest portion, is abusive to those around him for the slightest hiccup, etc.

March 30, 2020 – AEW announced its first-ever “TNT CHAMPIONSHIP,” a high-stakes, eight-man tournament which kicks off on Wednesday, April 8, on the weekly AEW: DYNAMITE show on TNT. The single-elimination tournament will feature the biggest names in AEW all vying for the inaugural TNT CHAMPIONSHIP belt.

Wrestlers in the first half of the tournament bracket will be revealed this Tuesday, March 31, on AEW’s YouTube show, AEW DARK. The second half of the bracket will be announced this Wednesday, April 1, during the live AEW: DYNAMITE show on TNT. The TNT CHAMPIONSHIP will culminate with an epic final match at DOUBLE OR NOTHING, AEW’s highly anticipated PPV event on Saturday, May 23, in Las Vegas.

I find it somewhat comical that they straight up released them, which waives the normal 90 day non compete clause, knowing there's nowhere for them to currently work right now. AEW has already taped their shows for at least the next month. I'm sure they could technically insert a new taped segment but if they were to go there, I'd wait for when there's a crowd (though that may be a few months off still)

Yeah, if they do anything with them the next month, it'll be a few vignettes hyping them coming in. Don't see them bothering trying to alter what they've already taped to work them into the show ASAP, especially since they haven't really been focusing as much on tag division with the empty arena shows.
