Well, I guess that the parking lot brawl between Best Friends and Lucha Bros is postponed indefinitely?

maybe for the same show when they bring back their version of War Games.

ok. Don’t get it. Don’t get the point when there’s so much good stuff to do with the dark order cult stuff.

Brodie Lee definitely needs reinforcements in dark order...or to finally start turning the jobbers into winners...aka the whole premise of dark order

It's a cult. It's always been a cult. That's the premise. The steak promo thing while taking a couple shots at Vince like Duffman said was also indicative of scenes you see and read about from how cults operate. The Leader eats first, gets the biggest portion, is abusive to those around him for the slightest hiccup, etc.

I knew it was a cult.

but yeah that clears it up.

I think this article sums up my thoughts on the segment:

Page 2 - Best and worst of AEW Dynamite- Inner Circle member kisses a Brandi Rhodes poster, Shots fired at WWE & Vince McMahon

Less shots at Vince, more getting darker and more weird as a Giant Monster lead of DO.

AEW introduces a secondary title (much needed imo. gives a lot more story options for the rest of their roster. they've been focusing on just a few guys the entire time)

March 30, 2020 – AEW announced its first-ever “TNT CHAMPIONSHIP,” a high-stakes, eight-man tournament which kicks off on Wednesday, April 8, on the weekly AEW: DYNAMITE show on TNT. The single-elimination tournament will feature the biggest names in AEW all vying for the inaugural TNT CHAMPIONSHIP belt.

Wrestlers in the first half of the tournament bracket will be revealed this Tuesday, March 31, on AEW’s YouTube show, AEW DARK. The second half of the bracket will be announced this Wednesday, April 1, during the live AEW: DYNAMITE show on TNT. The TNT CHAMPIONSHIP will culminate with an epic final match at DOUBLE OR NOTHING, AEW’s highly anticipated PPV event on Saturday, May 23, in Las Vegas.

“It’s been a privilege working with Kevin Reilly and TNT to bring fans the best live wrestling show week after week on AEW: DYNAMITE, especially during these tumultuous times,” said Tony Khan, president and CEO of AEW. “I’m glad we’re now able to announce the TNT CHAMPIONSHIP. The first ever titleholder will be determined by an unforgettable tournament that fans will not want to miss, and that our wrestlers will be desperate to win. I’m excited for the announcement of the full bracket live on Dynamite this week. And, it’s only fitting that the champion and the title belt will carry the logo of the globally-respected TNT brand, and that they’ll represent not only AEW but also the great quality programming, massive reach, and storied history in the wrestling business that are all associated with TNT.”

It's different, but is there a reason they're not calling it the TV championship?

Just branding. Get that corporate synergy going calling the "TNT" championship. I don't mind it. The "TNT Title" rolls off the tongue well enough

I love the irony.

in the 90s tnt wanted to dump pro wrestling like it was the plague...now it’s naming a title for its own show....

At least Archer was able to keep his Everybody Dies theme from New Japan.

Marko Stunt definitely died
I was wondering if it was going to be one of those jobbers that’ve been on Dark the past couple of weeks. But Marko was definitely the right person to make Archer look like a badass right out of the gate.

Pretty good tag match and then Brodie Lee with a better promo than previous ones. This was more back toward the cult aspect than taking shots at Vince (I think?).

I find it somewhat comical that they straight up released them, which waives the normal 90 day non compete clause, knowing there's nowhere for them to currently work right now. AEW has already taped their shows for at least the next month. I'm sure they could technically insert a new taped segment but if they were to go there, I'd wait for when there's a crowd (though that may be a few months off still)

That's exactly why.

Where are they going to go right now?

Yeah, if they do anything with them the next month, it'll be a few vignettes hyping them coming in. Don't see them bothering trying to alter what they've already taped to work them into the show ASAP, especially since they haven't really been focusing as much on tag division with the empty arena shows.
