They're booked all the way through the end of November.
Mostly east coast markets then one in Nashville and a couple in the midwest.
Also just a headsup. These shows don't have to sellout to turn a profit. Im guessing only a dozen or so arena shows the WWE runs are true sellout and many are heavily tarpped.
The scalpers got burned on this show. Not as many people want to travel midweek. I doubt it happens again.
Not true. They have a new date in December, on the 4th. It says Champaign, IL. which I assume to mean Univ. of Illinois. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. My point ultimately was you (AEW) have got momentum on your side, why aren't you announcing more dates for December? I'd say January, but Jericho has his cruise that month so I can see why AEW would hold off on announcements there.
I wasn't talking about profit. I was talking about perception that you (AEW) are the newest, hottest ticket on the market. Isn't that what you told me was the reason scalpers bought up nearly all of the tickets there and in DC? Also, isn't it odd that you don't hear about anymore sellouts for future AEW events? Well it isn't odd to me, as I have a good idea why they aren't selling out.
I predict you'll be wrong about the scalpers getting burned, especially with the Philly show. I see a lot of tickets still available for that show on Ticketmaster and other secondary outlets. That doesn't mean they ultimately won't "sell out", but they'll probably have to sweat it out. Like I believe they did in DC.
