Damn, this morning I woke up thinking the same. This whole week our wr coach and Harbaugh are going to preach that to Crabtree

The Giants definitely won't make that mistake again, the one time they didn't account for him in the earlier game at the Stick.. he got that 31 yard TD.

I still can't get over how much Alex impressed me last night. He had a great playoff performace, I'm so proud of that dude, he's been through a lot. Next year when Morgan gets back he'll just be that much better.

the O-line is playing better - not solid but better. next year, this Unit should be better from the get go and as such, Alex and the entire offense will be better.

they've been better and it showed yesterday, no one is saying they're stout. but next year there's no learning curve to start the season, all five should be back.

we didn't do well against the blitz yesterday. there was a couple near disasters as well. the giants don't blitz much but in the super bowl we'll be up against teams that will expose our weakness.

My thoughts were so up and down at the end I don't even recall typing that. But thanks for bringing that valuable piece of information to our attention.

Nauseating... find another team with a QB you like better or go shag a sheep...

no team will be perfect against all blitzes. again, the O-line isn't stout but its not a disaster like you're trying to portray.

every team has weaknesses and every team hopes to exploit the others. obviously, the Giants will apply pressure and its up to our Coaches and players to address it.

we'll apply pressure too and attack their weaknesses, so we'll see?

our line is one of the worst in the league. it shows up bigtime in our inability to pick up the blitz and get any sort of push on the goal line. guys arent getting beat 1v1 as much now, but we still have pass rushers going untouched blowing up the pocket.

you have to judge more on whats going on of late. if we were one of the worst in the league, we wouldn't be in the position we're in now.

yeah, of course the Saints applied pressure, ALL play-off teams applied pressure.

again, not claiming we're stout but you're overdoing it, REALLY over doing it like Mozart overdoing the Saints will rout us routine.

too many of our plays are gettin blown up. we should be able to handle the giants, but the ravens or pats will attack. the coaching staff needs to get on top of things. the gameplan against the steelers is what we need, then when they back off we can take shots.

We can still help Alex out a lot by getting another WR or TE that could give him more to work with along with some help on the right side of our offensive line. He basically got by with Vernon Davis yesterday.

i'm not so sure we'll handle the Giants either, cause by your standards no one gets within 2 yards of Alex?

every team will bring pressure, same as we have to send it. no team was perfect against the blitz, did you watch other O-lines?

the giants aren't a blitz heavy team and they dont have that speed rusher that gives our guys trouble.

their base defense is 4-3 which relies on their 4 down linemen. they don't bring as much heat as the Ravens, but their 4 guys do bring it. thats the nature of play-off football, every team has to bring heat, else lose ground in a hurry.

well point is they don't blitz like other teams and they lack speed on their line. they're one of the better match ups for our line.

I know but I had this feeling he could get the ball down there with 1:37 left. I was thinking FG though. Once Graham broke free I was actually hoping he'd score so there'd be time left for the 49ers.

You weren't hoping for anything. The "feeling" you felt were the diaperloads of shit you took on Saturday that finally smeared your nose like a pack of smelling salts.

Exactly. Would our best wr, Crabtree, start for GB, NYG, or NE? Would he be number 3? Number 4?

Watching those teams just shows how p*ss-poor our wr corp is. Weak, really really weak.
