Generally MLB doesn't really have a home field advantage until you get into the World Series for some reason

Whatever...I'm not gonna split hairs over it...all I see now is the home teams are 0-3 so far.
We'll see if that hold true in the other ALDS game later..and if it carries over to tomorrow.

Only difference between him and Reyes thus far has been his defence. He hasn't hit for shit.

Hit two to the warning track today. That's baseball for you, but good results will eventually follow good process.

David Price is clearly broken. No one should try to sign him. The Dodgers don't care about money, so they can take him. Nothing to see here, folks.

This game reinforces Price's reputation as a playoff choker. He was rested by the Jays before the playoff and cannot blame it on fatigue this time.

I still think Toronto has a good shot, and I wouldn't count them out even if they go down 0-2, but it wouldn't look too good. If there's one weakness that the Jays have it's that their lineup's loaded with free swingers...which isn't always a good thing in the post-season. Still lots of playoff veterans from the 2010 and 11 runs on the Rangers squad, so they're not going to be easy to put away.

Only one team in the playoffs (the Royals) struck out fewer times than the Jays did this season.

I wouldn't say he's broken. He's just a shitty pitcher in October. 0-6 in his post season starts. He's a damn good pitcher April-September

Great match-up today. The postseason vet vs. the new kid on the block. Hamels' limited history against the Jays favors Toronto, but he is not intimidated by the Playoffs. I think Stroman may get rattled early ... TEX 6 TOR 5.
