His WHIP today was actually less than his season average. He just couldn't keep the god damn ball in the park.

Jays should've given him a start in Tampa.

Yeah resting your starter for 2 weeks prior to the playoffs when he's not used to it is not a great decision

At all. One a manager that's been to the playoffs probably wouldn't have done.

I don't know how today would've played out for him had he been on shorter rest but I don't think he had given up 2 HRs in his career at the dome.

Price was simply bit by the long ball. And one mental lapse on D/beaning Odor. He wasn't rocked.


Anyways. Revere getting on to lead off the 8th is huge. Then you get Colabello(I'm guessing), Joey Bats and Edwin with a shot to tie it up.

Bad part about the 5 game series as the team with HFA is if you drop that 1st game, you put yourself in a must win situation in game 2 or else your season likely ends in game 3 or 4 as we saw last year with the Angels
