I see threads out and about for other divisions, but unless I'm just looking in the wrong place, I don't know that one of these are out there. So, let's begin by saying that EVERYONE in that division can hurt ya.
The Rays do it with their pitching and situational hitting, Boston has that nasty Tigers-esque type lineup with an above average rotation. Baltimore is the only team in the world who gets away with having lousy SP, yet a good record anyhow, the Yankees have a fierce pitching staff, and the Blue Jays have people like Reyes, Encarnacion, and Joey bats to keep pitching staffs honest. The ALE overall has been the best division for some time now, and while I'm sure my Tigers can get their punches in there someplace on those teams, I still feel so much better when they're not around.
So, is the ALE still the best division, and is it even close??
