Went from like 95% playoff odds to under 80% in about a week. Pretty much every facet of his team looks like shit. The offense is Kike/Devers/Martinez/Bogaerts/Verdugo/Renfroe and a bunch of scrubs. And some of those guys have been struggling lately. We'll see how things go with the Schwarber experiment, 1st base has been a gaping hole all year. I really wanted to see them get a catcher, Vaz has been absolute garbage after a hot 1-2 weeks to start the season.
Tanner Houck was charged with one run over 3 2/3 on Saturday in his start during the second game of a doubleheader against the Blue Jays.
Houck got the start and allowed just the one run, but didn't work deep enough to factor into the decision. He gave up three hits and struck out sick, but the issue was two walks and throwing 43-of-74 pitches for strikes. The talented 25-year-old is heading back to Triple-A, but likely will make another start at some point next week
