Ball wasn't really carrying last night or it might have been a different result. I did not have a good feeling when Gleyber fell down on the ground ball screen. Felt like another soul-crushing loss was on deck.

Glad it didn't work out that way, but they have got to get Chapman fixed, or get him out of the 9th inning.

I feel like he gotten better lately. Not where he was at in April and May but better than June

His velocity was down and he couldn't locate the fastball for shit.

As good as he is, if all he can throw for strikes is the slider, it's a matter of time until he hangs one.

He's not alone out there. Chad Green and Britton have been pretty average as well.

Best thing about Cole and Monty covid diagnosis is that it happened during a weak part of the schedule. They both should be back around next weekend or the week of 8/16
