Looks like Michael King has straightened him self off. Since 6/4 - 8 appearances, 9.1 innings, 1 hit, 4 walks, 0.00 ERA.

He seemed to be the only one who could get Paredes out, or at least keep him in the ballpark.

Yankees need to walk into today's arb hearing and drop a check for $21M in front of Judge, then walk out without a word.

I wonder if we'll see Bello get promoted soon. He was promoted to Worcester after dominating in Portland (33.2 IP, 16 hits, 42/12 K/BB, 0.83 WHIP, 1.60 ERA) and he's still pitching very well (40.1 IP, 32 hits, 57/15 K/BB, 1.17 WHIP, 3.12 ERA). He is already on the 40 man. Robles has 0 minor league options remaining and he's been struggling, might be destined for a DFA.

MAYBE THEY DID

Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports that the Yankees and Aaron Judge have reached a settlement to avoid an arbitration hearing.

The news comes shortly after Buster Olney of ESPN reported that Judge had declined the team's offer in recent days to settle at the $19 million midpoint. It's not clear at this point what amount the two sides wound up agreeing on. Judge, of course, is currently slated to hit free agency this offseason after turning down the Yankees' $213.5 million contract extension offer before Opening Day.

I mean, alienating the best player you've developed since the 90s would be pretty fucking stupid, even for these guys.

Maybe they can get Jackson Frazier back?

Kavadas seemed like he had nothing left to prove at Salem, though he was a little old. But he's been absolutely obliterating Salem pitching in June and he's been walking a ton. I'm interested to see how he does in Greenville, same goes for Hickey (who has also been drawing almost a walk per game).

Binelas was drafted a year ago and he'll now be in AA.

So the ORIOLES don't totally suck anymore.

Sure they are still a bad team, but they are no longer an embarrassment to baseball.

It was painful 3 years, but I think we might see them finally emerging from the other side in this Houston Astros style demolition/rebuild.

They look like a 65-70 win team on the rise instead of the 45-50 win years of the last 3 season for the complete rebuild.

They will be a real pain the ass for wildcard contenders in the 2nd half.

agreed, they look like a much better team than the 2018-21 iterations. It's not like you guys have really been avoiding the division or have a terrible run diffential. I could see them finishing above 70 wins.

Hays is having his breakout and Rutschman is holding his own in the majors so far. It's a shame you guys lost Means though, he was one of the better pitchers in the division.
