How does it feel?

I feel a lot better about this team than I did a month ago. The lineup has rebounded in a big way, and the rotation has looked pretty decent. Bullpen is somewhat of a shitshow, just not very many relievers we can reliably count on right now.

40-15. Holy shit.

They need to go 20-6 to match the best 81 game start in MLB history. Probably not likely, but never in my wildest dreams did I think this team would be in that particular conversation.

Felt the same way about the Sox in 2018. Was waiting for them to fall to Earth and they never really did. Worst month was September when they went 15-11, and they were pretty much guaranteed to make the playoffs by the time the month started anyway.

Blue Jays with the 3rd best record in the AL but when i brought up the Yankees played them 9x by middle of May, a Yankees fan on here really said they were not a good team to try and discredit his own team

That was me and that's not what I said. I said the Jays weren't playing well at the time and they weren't. They had a few injuries.
You also left out that I said the Yanks were playing great ball regardless of playing a shit load of under 500 teams. But don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Pressure on them to actually do something in October is going to be immense.

'98 Yankees handled it, '18 Red Sox handled it, '01 Mariners did not.

Will be interesting to watch.

Did all the Angel hitters really use Nickelback songs as their walkup music? They should give Sweet Caroline a try today, maybe get the crowd into it... "SO GOOD! SO GOOD! SO GOOD!"

I felt bad for them until they started doing that. They deserve another 14 game losing streak.

It doesn't make much sense anyway. I could maybe see it if they were from Canada. Here is something from a former Angel they could go with.

Angels are a hot mess right now, but I'd say worst team belongs to any of KCR/OAK/WASH. Reds have actually played pretty decent baseball since their 3-22 start.

Meh. Was a death by a thousand cuts. Cortes couldn't locate for shit, and even then they weren't making solid contact. Ball just found holes, or was misplayed by the right fielder.

Dont get me wrong, that 4th inning definitely had some shaky contact.

But the Twins were on him all game. Think they had 23 foul balls early in the 4th. He definitely wasnt fooling anyone.

For once most of our trash ass lineup had good Abs.

Fat fuck of a 3B coach tried to single handedly let Cortes and the Yanks hang in. The 4th may never have ended if not for that POS getting another guy thrown out at home.
