At least his contract up just about up, we get to enjoy Hicks for years to come. Hard to believe the Yanks are doing this well with Gallo, Hicks and the catching position all under 200 but the pitching has been that good. And they haven't played any good teams yet.

They played the jays nearly 10x. Played the white Sox as well. 2 teams that will be playing in october. The take that they haven't played any good teams in so dumb. Would you like them to only play angels, stros, twins, and rays this season?

It's not dumb it's accurate. The Sox have been awful, they're 15-22 and the Jays have been disappointing at 20-18. The White Sox are also under .500. The Yanks can only play who is on their schedule but not to admit the schedule has been soft so far is dumb. That being said, regardless of who you play 28-9 is great.

And neither are playing well. The Yanks opponents this year are a combined 127 - 167. They've played exactly one team that is currently over 500 and that's the Jays who are 20-18.

We're not even close to halfway. The jays and socks are good teams. The only confirmed awful they played is Baltimore.

Yeah, but it ain't over. This is Peralta's first appearance since May 9th. You have to have one great bullpen to not use a guy for 9 days much less a lefty with a 1.64 ERA.
