Davis, 27, was designated for assignment by San Francisco late last week. He's a career .159/.221/.270 hitter in 26 career games at the MLB level but has flashed big-time offensive upside in the minor leagues.

So far he's done better than JBJ, Dalbec, Vazquez combined

Can't disagree with most of it, but Torres gets too deep into his own head when he's struggling and it compounds itself.

Nice to see he seems to have built up some confidence but he's got to do a better job of shrugging off bad ABs and not let it continue to the next AB.
