lex Speier of the Boston Globe reports that the Red Sox will recall Jarren Duran from Triple-A Worcester prior to Friday's game versus the White Sox.​

It's not clear whose roster spot Duran will take, but worth noting is that Enrique Hernandez didn't play Thursday due to illness. Hernandez, Alex Verdugo and Jackie Bradley Jr. have all been dreadful offensively, so it's not a surprise the Red Sox want to give Duran a look. The top prospect has hit a blistering .397/.478/.638 with two home runs and seven stolen bases for Worcester this season. He struggling mightily in the big leagues last year, but his upside -- especially from a stolen base perspective -- warrants a roster spot in fantasy leagues.
