I love that the Ump ran him for saying "fuck", then by the end of the argument the Ump was dropping fbombs himself. LOL

They broke the mold with Weaver. Never be another one like him. And man did he and Billy Martin hate each other's guts.

Not very many positives from tonight's game... Tyler Danish looked good?

This team has drawn 29 walks in 12 games with a sub-.300 OBP. Fucking hell.

They did manage 10 hits tonight, but only one run to show for it (1-14 in RISP). Blah.

Gonna have to do something about Gleyber soon. He's just completely lost. The drop off a cliff in his production from his rookie and sophomore seasons is completely bonkers.

Thank god DJ is looking like DJ again, or they'd really be fucked.

It's crazy to think how much the outlook on Torres has changed. Just a few years ago, Dan Szymborski released these 5 year ZiPS projections for him (5 years of 40+ home runs and an OPS+ above 135):

And here's his current 3 year ZiPS projections:

2022: .260/.332/.426, 20 HR, 2.6 WAR
2023: .258/.332/.435, 21 HR, 2.8 WAR
2024: .256/.332/.434, 21 HR, 2.8 WAR

He's hit 13 home runs in his last 716 PA

Though it's not a very big sample size, he does seem to be making better contact (.269 xBA, .477 xSLG, .345 xwOBA, 91.4 EV which is more than 2 miles higher than it was in 2018-19). The contact just isn't falling for hits (.154 BABIP)

I was optimistic after they moved him off short because he started looking a lot better offensively. Then he had a pretty good spring.

But since the bell rang, he's been awful. Pretty much an automatic out.
