Gonna have to do something about Gleyber soon. He's just completely lost. The drop off a cliff in his production from his rookie and sophomore seasons is completely bonkers.
Thank god DJ is looking like DJ again, or they'd really be fucked.
Fuck NESN.
DJ isn't trying to pull every pitch like last year.....has been going the other way, huge difference in his approach at the plate so far......
He's also reminding me of Graig Nettles at 3rd lately.
He's been awesome defensively.
Everyone said the comp for GayBar was Carlos Correa. Not sure how much of that was the typical New York hype machine, though. He OPSed .850 and hit 62 HR as a 21 and 22 year old. The hype was entirely justified.
What's happened since then I haven't a clue.
Is 62 homers a lot at that age?
That’s really true. He looked the part for a while. Not many phenoms peak at 22, but I’m sure there are other examples? Strange case.He OPSed .850 and hit 62 HR as a 21 and 22 year old. The hype was entirely justified.

At the very least, it's a lot for a middle infielder at that age.
