Yanks are going to win
You say that every year. And then by May 15th you say they suck ass and should trade everyone. And then by July 15th you say they just might win it all. And then by September 1st you say “fuck the Yankees” and curse yourself for falling for them again.

Division winner prediction?

Shocker I'll go Jays with 100-62 record

I think the AL East will be too competitive for a team to win 100 games, I think the Jays are a slight favorite over the Yankees right now.....I still don't know what to expect from the Yankees.....

Agreed. I think it'll go something like this:
Jays 96-66
Rays 92-70
Red Sox 88-74
Yankees 87-75
Orioles 63-99

And you could very well see four playoff teams out of the division.

I don't feel like the AL East and Rogers Centre is a very good fit for Gausman, who has had home run issues throughout his career. San Fran helped mask that a little over the last 1.5 years.

That's not to say that I think he'll be bad for Toronto by any means, but I don't think he'll come close to a 2.81 ERA again.

Devers declined an extension offer. Guess there's no other options, trade him to the Dodgers.

Sounding like the latest Judge extension offer is in the neighborhood of 7 years/$200M.

I'll be surprised if he takes that, but happy.

Yeah, what an insult to offer such a Will Smith slap in the face contract.....

Devers declined an extension offer. Guess there's no other options, trade him to the Dodgers.

Xander Bogaerts confirmed Thursday that he will not be signing a new long-term contract extension with the Red Sox before Opening Day.

The postponement of Thursday's scheduled opener between the Red Sox and Yankees allowed one extra day for negotiations, but the two sides are apparently done talking. Bogaerts, like fellow Boston infielder Rafael Devers, has stated that he won't continue contract talks into the regular season. Devers is under control through 2023, but Bogaerts can opt out in November and become a free agent. He'd be leaving three years, $60 million on the table.
