Shut down by a guy with a 6.69 ERA going in.

Fan-freaking-tastic

Never in my Yankee loving life did I tune out of a game they were down 3-1 in the 3rd knowing it’s a loss

that’s what this lineup is, our pitching needs to be near perfect, it’s actually astonishing they are an above .500 team

I missed the whole thing-son's birthday and daughter's IB graduation dinner.

But yeah, looked at my phone and saw they were down 4-1. Didn't bother to check again. Too many non-combative AB's in this lineup day after day.

They desperately need an OF, not a star but a useful pro should be attainable

they really need a catcher, but I assume that would be a more difficult get

4 guys in that lineup last night hitting below .200. Odor on the way back and he can’t get to .200, either. And then there’s Andujar. Yikes. Not sure what the hell happened to that guy. Maybe they should be trying to talk Jay Bruce out of retirement right now?

I’m totally confident this won’t be their lineup in July, but it’s painful to watch

I don’t blame Andujar one but, this was a guy sent to the minors last week because of an 0-9 stretch, it’s gotta be impossible to perform under that type of pressure

I think they're also gonna need more starting pitching, because what they've got is not enough for the long haul.

I think Arizona is a nice trading partner, I’d love to see a guy like David Peralta brought in

Andujar makes it tough on them. His defense is so awful they really can’t play him anywhere. But if he’s not hitting? They may as well send him down.

He’s played a good LF actually

but he’s the anti-Yankee in their eyes, a free swinging hacker

they are so obsessed with the patient command of the strike zone types

I think an Andujar Frazier package can get them a useful piece, I’m sure some low payroll teams would take a chance on the upside of those guys

I would agree. There are plenty of teams that could use cheap guys with a few years of control. Only issue for the Yankees is selling on those guys when their value is so low.

You can have Franchy for a PTBNL. Shit for a player the Yankees haven't even drafted yet.

They are obviously never gonna stick with Andujar for the reasons we are saying, they are trying to be patient with Frazier, I just don’t see it

That Texas lineup is a pain in the ass. They gave the Sox all sorts of trouble when they played down there. Not exactly household names, though. Gallo is basically the only guy I really knew.
