You just told us how the Yanks are 22-29 (now 22-30) over their last 51 games and you seriously think they can make up 5.5 games in just over a month?

my comment was a counterpoint to you calling a 10 game stretch a small sample size. I never said anything about the Yankees being done.

That's great and all but I know deep down you don't think they can recover and win the division if they lose the series this weekend. You don't have to lie to me

Red Sox have a pretty tough schedule for the rest of the season and I'm still not in love with the offense, even if it does seem to be turning a corner (.292/.357/.478 and 64 runs in 11 games over last 2 weeks). Same goes for the bullpen, though I do have some confidence in Barnes and Workman.

2004 and 2011 have been excellent lessons in not counting my chickens before they hatch.
