Yanks pen really trying to blow this 3 run lead. Joe took out Tanaka in the 5th after allowing 2 hits and 2 runs. I get he had 5 walks but that hook was way too fast IMO

Yanks had a 6-2 lead entering the bottom of the 5th. It is now 6-5 in the bottom of the 6th with runners on the corners and 2 outs. Green and Kahnle been bad tonight.

I really wish there wasn't a day off going into the series. This offense is so finicky, it would've been better to just ride the wave through NY.

Yanks should have the pitching edge in game 2 and sox in game 3. Game 1 looks like a toss up

If it is Montgomery going on Sunday, he may be able to pitch good enough to keep us in the game. 4-2 with an ERA under 4 at the Stadium this year.
