Machado absolutely went off on the Red Sox organization. I don't blame him in the least bit. This was the 4th time they threw at him in just over a week.

I'm expecting a bench clearing brawl tomorrow.

And as Manny said I'm just sick and tired of pitchers using the ball as a weapon and maybe missing a start or not get suspended at all. But if a hitter uses his bat as a weapon and crack the pitcher skull open, it becomes an issue right?

If Price comes back, and Pomeranz/E-Rod are the 4/5 guys, I feel okay. Rodriguez won't have an ERA under 3.00 long with the amount of walks he gives up, but he should be a solid back end guy. Problem with those two is they can't go deep into games.

Porcello has one really bad game, which inflates his ERA. I'll take him as the 3rd guy any day, even with the regression from last year that was inevitable. Problem is patching together that 5th guy until Price is back. Have Kyle Kendrick pitching on Thursday.

Agreed on Porcello....Always liked E-Rod, he's that typical tease, needs to find consistency......Im hoping Severino isnt turning into that....Brilliant for 2 starts, gets you excited, only to let you down hard

Machado did not even slide into Pedroia on purpose. It was clumsy and reckless but not intentional.
Machado needs to work on his technique not his intent to do anything. Pedroia had no issues with the slide.
