Anyone have any idea what happened? Didn’t seem like Anderson did anything wrong.

Just saw the fight now. That was awesome.

Tim Anderson is one of the biggest bitches in sports. KAT level of coward.

Love that Ramirez put him on his ass. And will probably help the Twins for the next week too

Huge day. Twins win it in the 9th. Guardians lose it in the 9th.

Massive week gaining 4 games

Biggest difference right now is injuries for both teams. Guaridans have injuries have crippled them. The Twins injuries have forced the FO to play the young talent.

Fun times. Need AK and Lewis back and Ill really enjoy watching this team.

Max Kepler has a OPS over .850 his last 40 games.

Would be massive if his bat continues for the rest of the season.

Umpire should get suspended too.

He just backed away and let two dudes square up.

Not sure what Ramirez problem was there. All Anderson did was hold the tag on him.
agree. I watched it numerous times and didn't understand what got Ramirez so fired up.

I'm guessing the Guardians also weren't happy with that tag he made on Rocchio on Friday night

Also kinda looked like his tag hit Ramirez in the face

Changing the subject, Ramon Laureano is now available for the Twins to pick up. He is owed about $1MM for the rest of the year and the team could cut Gallo to add him. He offers very good outfield defense and a good bat against lefties.
Any interest?

right......

Plus Francona in the post game said that Anderson was basically harassing Arias. While it is usually nothing extreme to give another player some shit on the field, Francona said that the umpire actually stepped in and told Anderson to knock it off- which is an exceptionally rare thing to happen.

1. The tag that was a cheap move on Rocchio;
2. Running his mouth to Arias so much that the umpire actually stepped in;
3. Laying a hard tag on Jose after earlier in the game Jose told him to stop that kinda shit because it will get someone hurt.

Then Anderson squares up first, and throws the first punch.

Jose said in his postgame conference that "Andedrson has been disrespecting the game for a while". Jose is pretty beloved around the majors and I think Andersson is kind of universally loathed.

I bet a lot of players around MLB were A. not surprised to see it happen. and B. were thrilled that it happened. Especially seeing a little guy like Jose- who - to my knowledge has never even been thrown out of a game in his career and is as mild mannered as they come- defend himself and lay Anderson out.

I saw this post a little bit ago and liked it since I think Laureano is actually pretty good.

10 minutes after that I saw the Guards made a claim on him.

Yup Guards had waiver priority.

Good pick up for facing lefties.

Not sure why Ramirez is appealing. 3 games is pretty lenient I would just take that and get it over with.

Nice win for the Twins tonight. Lopez threw 7 shutout innings and Correa was 2/4 with a homer, a double and 4 RBI. Jeffers with another 3-run homer.
