You act like the Twins are old haha.

Wait so youre saying the Twins minor leaguers are getting beat by a bunch of kids?? Haha.

Again, the Twins are on their 5th stringers.

They are trotting out outfields of Cave/Celestino/Contreras. They are playing guys in positions they never even played

THe twins are so out of bodies they are not just inexperienced but they had to go to the 5th string options in the minor leagues.

Also your logic here is like saying Twins should be embarrased if Sandy Leon can't out hit Julio Rodriquez, because well....age.
Your entire roster is injured? A lot of teams have injuries that just means they didn't groom the young guys enough and have little to no depth.
You do realize half the players on the roster now were called up. They've had to call up starters all year with injuries. The Indians were in full rebuild coming into the season and starting a bunch of rookies and yet they are leading the division and way ahead of expectations.

The game will be televised out here today.

Only seen the Cleveland Baseball Team play about a dozen times this season. Most of those were on the mlb extra innings free preview.

Dude, if youre gonna try and engage. Please read. Its not a lack of depth. They had depth. But everyone got hurt. I said they are on their 5th string, not their 2nd and 3rd.

When Sano went down they had Miranda. They started off with having no way to play all of Kirillof, Miranda, Larnach, Lewis along with the guys already starting.

But, do to injuries long term to kirilloff, Larnach, Sano, Lewis they have had to dive deeper. That also ignores the usually Buxton injury, Polanco and Kepler being out for long periods. Jermaine Palacios single handedly lost the game the other night, because he was our only healthy remaining option.

Nick Gordon cant play well defensively at any position, hes had to play 6 different ones out of necessity to field a team. He started the year as a utiltiy role player was still one when Kirilloff/Larnach/Lewis/Miranda all came up. Hes now our clean up hitter with 8 home runs.

PItching wise. Winder hurt. Ober out all year. Paddock out all year. Gray 2 IL stints. Even Joe Ryan had 3 weeks of rona shelfed. The Guardians have 3 starters over 162 innings already. The Twins will not have 1 that could even qualify for the ERA title. And that is not just cause Rocco pulls guys. We simply havent had guys make enough starts.

Twins have had 3 catchers on their team for a while Sanchez/Leon/some dude named Caleb Hamilton.

They are so out of players they have to carry Caleb and Billy Hamilton just to field a legal roster haha

How about the minor leagues, do the Salt Lake City Buzz have any talent down in AAA?

Wait a minute. The Buzz are from the movie Major League- Back to the Minors. Never mind.

Couple more things on this shit season.

For as bad as our manger and front office are. We do probably win this division by about 8 games(since White Sox didnt both showing up this year) if our injuries are even cut in half. Weve been playing big games against Cleveland the last couple weeks not with 2nd and 3rd stringers. But literally 4th and 5 options at positions. Spring training linueps night

Just an exclamation point on the domination Cleveland has exerted over us this season.

Baldelli used Pagan as the closer for too many games. He lost his stuff and lost a lot of games that the Twins should have won. Had it not been for his pitching, the Twins would have 80 wins by now.
No, I'm not making excuses. The team has not played very well down the stretch and it appears Cleveland wants to win the Central more than the Twins do. I give them a lot of credit for playing well when they need to and hope they do well in the playoffs. Not sure they can handle Houston, though.

well maybe they shouldn't give those injury prone players a 7 year deal LOL.

A manager is part of the equation but trying to blame the season on injuries is pretty lame. Got your asses kicked by a bunch of 23 year olds

Will the Indians do anything in the playoffs? All signs point to no, they are too young, lack too much power and there are too many offenses with big bats that hit for power. The Indians need to manufacture runs, the Astros and Yankees have guys that can get you back in the ballgame with one swing. To do anything in the future, they will need to add power or some of these minor league guys will have to develop power. They don't grow on trees.

Injuries obviously hurt but Rocco does need to go. That series earlier in the year where we had 5 games vs the Indians we had late leads like 3 times and his handling of the pen lost all three of those games.

Normally I would agree but they had to sign him, with Sano being a joke and moving Berrios they had to keep him. Those were the big three who were suppose to lead the Twins to the pennant again.

Guardians are super young and Twins are super old and not hurt.

Average age of Guardians starting lineup today 26.1

Average age of Twins starting lineup today 26.7 which is because of injury replacements Leon and Cave bringing up the age.

Haha you cant have it both ways. Cant claim the Guardians are barely drinking legal and the Twins are some old team with no injuries.

Reality will kick your ass everytime.

I'm not the one making excuses. The Twins definitely had higher expectations than the Indians coming into the season considering they tried to give Correa a shit ton of money and he even realizes he wants nothing to do with this ball club. He gone. Giving a 7 year contract to a guy that can barely finish one half of a season....sounds like desperation.

I never once said the Twins were super old. I only referenced the Indians age and youth because you want to blame the failures on young players from the minors called up bc of injuries. Sure there is a difference between calling someone up bc of injured players then the player projected to be ready for the MLB level but that isn't reality. A lot of these rookies were called up, sent back down, called up and so on....the Twins farm system just isn't as juiced as the Indians is what it comes down to. No worries...the Indians have a top 5 farm system bc it's mandatory to compete. They don't spend bc they have a cheap owner and it's been like that for 20+ years. The Indians are a couple years ahead of schedule.
