The last month the Tigers are 20-8 with the best ERA in baseball. The Twins are 10-19 with one of the worst in baseball. 3rd worst record other than CHW and LAA. Strange part of the Tigers pitching dominance, they aren't doing it with SO's. Only 7.95 which bottom 5. High GB rate and not giving up the big hit, few walks too. That is pretty ridiculous.

I do feel like this conversation is worth revisiting. Not to spike the ball, the Tigers could definitely choke but Royce has been very pedestrian this second half. His walk rate is respectable though, albeit not excellent.

He's young and some have pointed out he's holding the bat differently however.
