It's a bummer more Cleveland games aren't televised nationally. Have only gotta chance to watch them a handful of times. Mostly the first week week of the season when etxra innings had a free preview.

Kwan just hit his 9th homer of the season.

His career high was 6 in a season.

Right now he has about 250 at bats. Can he triple his former high and go for like 18 this year?

Kyle Farmer better pray injuries keep happening. Because he is nearing unemployment

This piece of shit struck out on a pitch that hit him lol.

There is no way we send Lee or Wallner back down.

2 starts from Bieber, 1 start from Williams, Allen and McKenzie sent down, Espino and Cantillo (best 2 SP prospects) hurt----

and somehow the Guardians have the best record in the AL. It defies explanation

Jax not making the all star game is hilarious.

It's even funnier when Clay fucking Holmes makes it for a team that wasnt in need of a mandatory rep

there are so many setup guy/middle relief guys that have good numbers though. Are you saying Jax should be the Twins mandatory rep?

I am happy with 5 Guardians- Jose, Kwan, Naylor, Fry, Clase.....

Gaddis had a great case with 44.1 IP, 1.28 ERA, 0.71 whip, 1.6 WAR (ESPN). He had one stretch against the Braves where he gave up 4 runs in 2 games- other than that he has given up 2 runs.

No Correa deserved to go too.

Jax should just be on the team because he has the numbers to support it. Holmes over him is objectively insane

Ryan and Castro were worthy but not snubs

Also Jax is not a middle relief guy haha. Hes as high leverage as they get.

1.31 WHIP and 3.00 ERA for Holmes is pretty subpar- especially the WHIP.

geez- Gaddis whip is like half of that. Gaddis with over 43 IP is a lot of innings to sustain a 1.28 ERA and 0.71 WHIP. 1hr and 7 walks in 43.1* IP is pretty amazing.

What I want the Guardians to do:

1. Bazzana
2. Condon
3. Wetherholt

What is the most likely:

1. Bazzana
2. Wetherholt
3. Condon

It is tough though- Condon has such an upside. At the end of the day I think they take the guy with the better contact/hit tool and that plays up the middle and will be easier to sign

if the Guardians really want to save on the first pick to give big money on their 2nd and 3rd picks--- #1, #36, and #48- they will likely take Wetherholt

If they take Wetherholt (who was pretty much the consensus #1 guy coming into the college season), that means they are going to spend significantly over slot for their next 2 picks.

Part of me just says eff it and take Condon and pay him a ton--- they have the highest bonus pool in history at about a little over 18 million....but getting Bazzana or Wetherholt plus 2 very good players later on also makes sense- especially in the MLB draft where you have to take some chances.

Another thing- they have had some good performances from last years picks- Kayfus and Mooney in particular (last years 3rd and 7th rounders)--- last years first is probably not going anywhere (Velazquez)......and then Noel and Martinez have come up and impressed and would be valuable trade pieces--- though- it would scare me to trade Martinez- he looks like what I hoped Rocchio would be- just a pro that looks like he feels comfortable.

with Espino going down---- and Cantillo having a bad leg injury- their SP depth in the minors isnt what it used to be--- there are guys- but maybe taking pitching with those 2nd and 3rd picks and paying over slot would be a good strategy

it is just wild to have the best record in the AL- and the first pick and biggest bonus pool in history.

This month- and what they do- between the draft and the trade deadline- will have a huge effect for years to come.

ya never know though- Matt "Tugboat" Wilkinson was their 10th rounder last year--- and already has a cult following and looks like a helluva pick- but guys deep i nthe minors can always fail or get hurt and just be done at any time.

Just Go and get Sherzer and Bichete and...like Jake Taylor said:

It is pretty wild how solid the AL Central has been

I think Baltimore is the best team in the AL

I would say the Yanks are the 2nd best team- but Rodon and Gil have taken a step back and Cole does not look very good. I think they are still probably the 2nd best team in the AL but its close

the Guardians are def. the next best team- if not right there with the other 2 - having the best bullpen in the league and solid hitting.

The Twins I think are def. the 4th best team in the AL

can this change? definitely. The Mariners are 2 good bats, and a Julio Rodriguez revival away from maybe breaking into that top 4. The Guardians could make a move for a starter- as could the Twins.

I am not sure what the Yanks do--- they have a lot of starting pitching options-- if they make a move it has to be a guy that is definitely better than Cole, Gil, Rodon, Stroman, Cortes, they have 5 guys that are anywhere from very good to decent....however, Gil will prob. have innings issues and Cole has the health issue looming- and Rodon has had health issues. I guess the YAnks could use a corner infielder- either 1B or 3B.

Orioles need bullpen and maybe a good starting pitcher

Twins need a good starting pitcher and maybe some outfield help.

Guardians need a good starting pitcher and maybe some outfield help.

Will be interesting to see if the Red Sox and Astros do anything......and if the Blue Jays and RAngers decide to sell.

I would go:

1. Orioles
2./3. Yanks/Guardians
4. Twins
5. Mariners
6. Astros
7. Red Sox
8. Royals

Rangers and Blue Jays should sell- but I kinda doubt they will.

I would be shocked if they don't make a move before the deadline for at least one SP, if not 2

I get in the playoffs you can run a 4 man rotation but Boyd is nothing more than a BP guy--long reliever probably. Carrasco still can't be trusted. Still need time for Gavin to regain himself. They have 2 SP's they can trust right now...like you said and they are first in AL. Pretty amazing

I would pick up 2 SP's at the deadline. I would love for them to go after Fedde maybe Flaherty too. Two AL Central pitchers lol. Eovaldi is an interesting target, higher priced guy but the dude is so freaking good in playoffs. Tyler Anderson another guy they should look at

I have given up they will take Condon even though I still want them to draft him....either way, I would be fine with Bazzana.

Been the best offense in baseball since the first month

Still have got to get pitching this month. Sounds like Stewart will be back soon, but still need 1 more reliever if we can even assume he stays healthy. And have to have another starter. Paddock is back today but he cant be the 5 down the stretch.
