Not sure who is really supposed to regress that much in the Guardians lineup

Jose- .279 avg., .334 obp, .881 ops is certainly not out of the ordinary
J. Naylor- .241 avg., .319 obp, .823 ops--- certainly not anything crazy
S. Kwan--- all right- Kwan isnt gonna bat .390 for the season- but If he bats .330 the rest of the way- its not like thats bad- and he missed a month
-Will Brennan- .256 avg., .314 obp., .730 ops--- i think he gets quite a bit better than this line- he has been a lot better since May 1
-Tyler Freeman- .215 avg., .307 obp., .650 ops--- i certainly think he will play better than this
-Rocchio- .214., .316, .620 ops- either he plays better or Schneeman is gonna take his job
-Bo Naylor- been terrible---
Arias- been terrible
Florial and Lareano had about 200 mostly terrible at bats before they were let go- though ill give Florial some credit- he had a nice moment or two.

the only guy that is likely headed for a stat correction is Fry- and I certainly dont think Fry is bad

if anything I think the Guardians have some upside left in their lineup

the bullpen is where the real overachievement has happened- i dont think they are gonna lap the league in bullpen ERA for the whole season--- but I will say Clase is having a year that might just get him in the Cy Young conversation.

The good news is, Buxton is truly heating up for a bit at least

Bad news, the team is on one of their down swings. 2-4 in last 6, all by 1 loss

Another good start from Lopez and his ERA will be back under .500.

I think that’s a good sign for you guys. He should be closer to Ace level than shitty.

His FIP is sub 4 and most of his metrics aside from homers allowed(which are way up for him) point to progression so yeah, should be fine.

But it’s definitely time for him to rattle off a great 5 start stretch

Bo is heating up in June. Last year he got hot towards the end of the year. He can only go up, right?

Some better platoon players would be ideal but maybe the kid Noel would be called up soon. Hopefully.

Festa making his debut tomorrow. Top pitching prospect.

Not the soundest control. But hopefully he does well in his auditions up here and it moves Paddack to the pen post IL

I think Bo Naylor, Brennan, Freeman and Rocchio/Schneeman, Gimenez all have room for improvement offensively.

Naylor and Ramirez could also see some of their numbers raise--- but I do think that the 40+ homer pace for Naylor and RAmirez will be tough to keep up. Ramirez career high in homers is 39 and Naylor is 20 before this year. I dont think either will get to 40--- but both could reach 35.

I think Brennan and Kwan could get to 15 homers a piece.

Its kinda funny that the Guardians have the best record in baseball and the #1 pick in the draft in a couple weeks.

cant win em all.....

bullpen has been wiped out lately--

gotta say- Carrasco and Curry only giving up 4 combined gave em a chance.

KC next- and then the schedule relents a little bit...just keep winning series.

so many close games for the Twins.

They really seem to take care of business against bad/mediocre teams. They need to win against the good teams to really make a move.

I dont think the division is over by any regards - considering I think Lopez can and will get hot like he did last year and the Cleveland rotation needs some help-- Allen has been bad...Carrasco has had some moments but is mostly cooked- Livelyi s playing over his head.

If Gavin Williams comes back and is healthy- and the Guardians make a trade they will be tough to catch- but those are big IF's.
