I'm with @dtgold88 . Bleh on the Rodgers thing, I hope he does miserable and the Steelers are in a position with a top 10 pick next year for a new QB. Enough about that for me. More talk about busts.
The morning manager at the McDonalds I frequent is a Steelers fan. Just said to him, "Rodgers, huh?" He is pissed. I told him, "Relax, with Mike Tomlin as coach I am convinced Stevie Wonder at QB would win 9 games for the Steelers."

Why didn't he work out in Pittsburgh? There isn't a more stable situation than that?

Not sarcasm, I'm genuinely curious.

Nothing was stable about their offense. The mediocre QB’s, awful complementary WR’s and worst of all their play calling from the coordinators.

Those are all correct points, but I feel like there needs to be a conversation about his own attitude and approach. The second he decided it wasn't going "HIS" way, he shut down. They could be winning, it didn't matter. They could be losing, he wouldn't care. If he was getting "HIS", he was fine. The second that he felt that wasn't the case...he was mentally shut down.

Yep and that all fell on the coaching staff and their lack of discipline towards him.

WR:

Braylon Edwards (238 receptions, 3,641 yards, 28 TDs. A Pro Bowl selection in 2007) (1st rd)
or Corey Coleman (61 receptions, 789 yards, 5 TDs), (1st rd).

Based on attitude, Braylon. "They didn't like me because I went to Michigan, wahhhh". No, idiot, we didn't like you because you couldn't catch the ball.

Based on stats Coleman.
for us it's Coleman (or Holden).

Agreed, but this isn't their first rodeo with a malcontent, especially at WR...this has not played out like before...which is telling, at least to me.

OL is going to be fun as every team has had their fair share of busts.

The Bengals certainly have some serious WHIFFS...here...I'd say the 2 most recent 1st round guys:

Cedric Ogbuehi and Billy Price come to mind. So does Fisher (2nd round). Cedric was 21st overall, and Price was also 21st.
Hard not to mention Jackson Carmen here, either...wooff.....2nd round guy, but man he was bad.

I don't think OL gets the following from other teams as other positions do, so I'm interested in seeing what everyone has to say about their own teams....

Strongest contenders IMO:

Jedrick Wills Jr/Pete Adams
Tom Ricketts/Jamain Stephens
Cedric Ogbuehi/Billy Price
Michael Oher

I dunno...while Smith certainly didn't live up to the 6th pick...he had a fairly long career...I certainly would slide Cedric or Price ahead of Smith, despite being the 6th overall picked comp'd to 21st.

Oher only ended up playing, what ... 5 seasons?

While I hate using the injury angle - it appears that this is part of the criteria most everyone else is considering - Wills is likely going to play the least amount of games, and he's sitting out 2025 due to knee issues...and rumors are, he could retire...As someone says for the Bengals (Dave Lapham) the best ability is availability - and he doesn't have it...I might lean Wills here based on the potential short career he's facing....

Steelers without a doubt for me is Jamain Stephens. Cut second year after coming to camp out of shape.
Chris Conrad was another flop like Urbik was in the 3rd round and John Mayer a 2nd round pick who never played. Didn't pick Mayer since he was drafted to play DT vs OL but had knee issues and in-turn had to quit.

Ravens is Terry.
The hype around Oher wasn't all his fault but he did play consistently so I can't call him a true bust? Played and started 110 games.

Browns is Adams over Willis.

Bengals all of them :) Actually Ogbuehi

In the end I am taking Stephens. No bias he was just lazy trash and I still love the video of Cowher hazing him (can't find it). And Cowher stating he had no drive then cutting him the next day.

Dang? Getting cut in year 2?

Yeah - that would seal the deal for me....I'll go Stephens.

I am on board with all three of these. I go with Cedric because we let Andrew Whitworth walk because of him and Fisher.
