I'm a little excited. The Steelers have given the Ravens fits - Even when they shouldn't. I can't say I would be disappointed to watch Baltimore and their 8 pro-bowlers make a first round exit. Obviously not going to happen with the way the Steelers played the last couple of weeks, but maybe something changes? Here's to hoping.
Not that anything will change, but a blowout at the hands of our division rival could bring something. My fear is that if the Steelers do find a way to win, that it will galvanize Tomlin’s way of doing things by proving his methods ‘can’ work, even if they will never amount to anything substantial.

The Steelers have set records for how inept they are on defense in the postseason. Doubt that changes against Baltimore.

It was alarming how passive they were with the Bengals on those first couple of drives the other night. It was hard to understand how soft the coverage was and when they started pressing more they started disrupting things.

Damnit - we tried to give it back to you.

Pickens looked like he didn't want to catch, and Friermuth was wide open on that 4th down...went through his hands.

Tomlin looked downright miserable in that weather though....they kept cutting to him and I was dying...

Seriously Pickens was playing like he owed someone a massive gambling debt.

The dude has talent. There is no denying this.

But he seems like he could not care less about anything but himself - and when things don't go his way on the field, he looks like he just shuts it down. I could be off since I don't watch all your guys' games, but in the times I've seen him here and there - he looks like a Prima-Donna who hasn't earned that kind of attitude yet.

Guys like AB turned into headcases - but they were damned good on the field for a few years before that mentality took hold.

I say this as someone who obviously does not follow them as a fan but maybe just a little spoiled as Steeler fans? Guy did win a title when Ben was still good. Not sure anyone goes far with his QBs since Ben regressed.

That is pretty much Pickens to a "T". He is yet another of the long line of very talented WR's the Steelers that have major personality issues.
He does need to become a better route runner and he could easily be one of the best but instead worries about his own stats. Amazing you would think on Saturday he would have tried harder to get 1000 yards (even though he missed 3 games) but instead put on a major shitshow.

At least you are getting something - Burton is too busy slapping around his GF (allegedly) and getting evicted out of his apartment, and getting sued by his landlord.

The amount is only $2500 (basically 1 months rent) so that tells you if you are getting kicked out AND sued - there are some deeper issues.

One rumor I've seen, and I don't know if this is true or not, but would kinda explain all of this: He slapped around his G/F who went to the police with photos and proof. That was Saturday/Sunday of last week. Burton then missed practice/meeting/walkthrough leading to his being left home, and then the lawsuit/eviction was posted...makes you wonder if other tenants were calling and complaining about him, maybe corroborating her story - and the landlord basically said - yeah, that's enough of that you're outta here...

Again - no clue, but the guy has been a major disappointment - and he was trained in the off-season leading up to the draft by TJ Housh - who the Bengals obviously know...was doing all the right things up to that point, and then since then - he's been too busy with life to bother showing up for his job...

And I love how it takes 2 full quarters for them to finally change their gameplan. Letting their entire pass rush tire themselves out trying to get to a QB that is releasing the ball under 2 seconds.

That sauce is as rich & creamy as Skyline Chili.
Why you gotta bring Skyline into this? lol

Now I have to point out that while Cincinnati was eliminated in week 18, it was with a WIN over the Steelers...so, not quite the angle I think that applies to a matchup.

Also, Cleveland was eliminated in like....week 1 because...well, Cleveland...lol

Dude is out of room now after he adds Winston and Zappe.
