You know what the sad thing is, I truly believed Baker would have had a better season than Watson will, even without suspension. I think Baker was hot as hell beginning last season before getting hurt completing almost 80% of his passes in the first couple games. He would have been on a contract year. I think if the Browns had left things alone and kept their picks and money, they would have been better off. Watson can be a huge talent though and if he continues to be the player he was prior to getting benched, he is probably worth the money.

Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes deals look like steals now. Chief's and Bills were very lucky to lock their QB's in very long term prior to this non-sense. The Brown's certainly didn't help anything with their contract for Watson, and Adams/Hill with their demands and contracts.

Those three players just changed the landscape of football forever probably.

That is odd, and something I never heard about. However, all the mic'd up moments, and all the things he did on the field, he seemed like a great teammate. Always cheering his guys on, celebrating with them, throwing himself in the middle of blocking to help his mates get those extra yards. Baker seemed like a great teammate.

I guess one reason no one may be speaking up, they know Baker is gone, and they don't want to put themselves behind the 8-ball with the new QB and the face of the franchise. Only thing I can think of, because I would have thought guys really liked Baker based on what I could see and hear.

I think the reason none of his teammates have spoken up is they have nothing good to say about him. Competitor on the field. But maybe he's a complete asshole off?
