Dave is not the best singer or guitar player in the world, but he is absolutely perfect for the music they play...

Wasn't he on some VH1 reality show with Ted Nugent, Jason Bonham, Scott Ian and one or two others? Gotta say - was not impressed with him. Seems like one of those guys that has to gargle honey for two hours before a performance so he sounds good.

Damnocracy

Pretty funny show

Scott Ian seemed pretty cool.

would you rather young people discussing Bieber and lady gaga?

Don't say "sports" because we know that you rarely discuss THAT topic...

I'd rather discuss the massive amount of deaths in the boston marathon than to continue to hear your opinion on music

If we're still talking about supergroups...

Corey Taylor is a pretty badass frontman with a great voice... MJK is as well..

Love Corey Taylor...

Love Slipknot...

His voice is pretty much shot at this point, in terms of being able to scream like he did on Iowa....but a great great lead man...

Bach's really underrated...can sing anything...if you want that 80's hair scream feel...you can't find a better guy...too bad he was in such a cheasy 80's band...

Cheesy 80's videos, maybe. Slave To The Grind rocks as hard as any album out there... and the debut was REALLY good for 1989. The ballads and 80's-ish lyrics lend to differing opinions, but Big Guns, Sweet Little Sister and Piece of Me... All very good!

...flea is a kick-ass bassist.....how is he horrible?.....

The fact his band has been around for 20+ years and have yet to record a single song that didn't give me a headache...

I can't stand funk...and his bass style is VERY funk influenced...

Les Claypool is another in the same category....

you wouldn't have been able to get him anyway as he has been on my bench for two weeks now

Ahh thanks for the heads up

I probably should've checked before assuming that nobody would waste a roster spot on a fat schlub before he gets named the closer

Then again, you wasted a roster spot on Steve Delabar, so....

No kidding. The intro to Higher Ground sure sounds like it would be tough to play.
