I'd certainly appreciate a healthy discount on my next trip in, Heat.

I don't have the natural instinct to squirrel away money the way VP does.

let me know when your coming and i will definitely hook you up the best i can. :10:

If you want a supergroup it helps to have name recognition. Probably should swap Flea out for Mike Watt.

My band has name recognition within their fanbase.

We arent catering to anybody. Dont like us, fuck you, dont come see us.

Yeah i think it was some kind of machine accident, did you see Sabbath live great show before Ozzy killed all his brain cells and motor functions..

LOL...no unfortunately was too young (only 36 now)...Sabbath had Dio singing by the time I would've been old enough to see them, and never did.

if youre looking for closers in your league:

Valverde may assume the closer's role for the Tigers right out of the gate, as manager Jim Leyland said he would use Valverde in a save situation Wednesday if needed, Chris Iott of MLive.com reports.
Spin:
Leyland did not officially name Valverde his closer, but it looks like he will be the one getting the ball in the ninth inning moving forward. Valverde may still be a free agent in some leagues, but on the heels of Leyland's comments, that probably won't be the case for long.

i've had him stashed for about two weeks not. and have activated him. so that was a good move that may pay off pretty soon

Yes...Yes...

Agree...

Totally...

Mmmm...somebody else could have come along and did the same thing. The record execs were a big driving force in taking acid rock/metal into the mainstream; it's possible that they could have latched on to another band if Zep had never materialized. There was a time when they all thought the Kinks were going to redefine music; then they grabbed on to the next hot thing.

I have always liked Zeppelin, but I find them less palatable in my geezerdom. Same thing with my screen-name's inspiration: the 'Oo. I won't say Clapton/Hendrix/Page weren't talented, but there are several other guitarists from the era that I prefer, like Jorma Kaukonen, Mike Bloomfield, Alvin Lee, John Cippolina, and Toy Caldwell. Difference of opinion is what makes for a horse race.

Electric Hot Tuna with Jorma was unreal, 4-5 hour shows were the norm saw one as a teenager in the old Commack Arena on LI

Was about to pick him up last night. Then couldn't find a guy on my roster that I would less rather have on my roster than this garbage

I hate Tool, and never considered any of them for anything. I prefer a 2 minute song to a 7 minute song.

I was going more for a punk feel, not a band like Tool. Cant get much better on bass than Mike Watt, if you want that kind of music.

Of course, if you ask 20,000 people, very few people would have the same lineup.

I like Sebastian Bach.

Bach's really underrated...can sing anything...if you want that 80's hair scream feel...you can't find a better guy...too bad he was in such a cheasy 80's band...

Tom Morello and Patton would have me there. The bassist and drummer are just gravy. Now I just have to get a babysitter.

If we're still talking about supergroups...

Corey Taylor is a pretty badass frontman with a great voice... MJK is as well..

Wasn't he on some VH1 reality show with Ted Nugent, Jason Bonham, Scott Ian and one or two others? Gotta say - was not impressed with him. Seems like one of those guys that has to gargle honey for two hours before a performance so he sounds good.

would you rather young people discussing Bieber and lady gaga?

Don't say "sports" because we know that you rarely discuss THAT topic...
