Right on Heat, most of these clowns like hearing themselves anyway..

it's pretty simple and actually if they block you it's probably doing you more of a favor than anything else. :2cents:

Tony Iommi one of the best riff guitarists out there, learned how to play left handed after injuring his fingers..

Machine operator or something right? Cut off the tips? It's what they owe their sound too...starting out he could only handle power cords..so.....he'd just hammer power cords...WHAMMMO...the Sabbath sound is born...

We never go into Madhatten anymore if we can help it...two grade schoolers = we need cheap eats! That's why we take 'em to the beer garden. They can run around and play while we drank. If they start the "I'm hungry" whining routine, we whip out the pre-packed snacks and say, "here ya go, mommy thought of everything..."

As long as we've got beer on the table, the staff don't say anything. It's perfect.

oh yeah.. :agree: especially with you having the lil ones.

Mike Patton - lead singer
Tom Morello - guitar
Bill Stevenson - drums
Mike Watt - bass

if Watt says no, I go with Kim Deal, because cool bands have a girl play bass

If you want a supergroup it helps to have name recognition. Probably should swap Flea out for Mike Watt.

your money your opinion.. so i got no problem with that. it definitely aint taking no money out my pockets so. if it's good for you do your own thing.

I'd certainly appreciate a healthy discount on my next trip in, Heat.

I don't have the natural instinct to squirrel away money the way VP does.

if youre looking for closers in your league:

Valverde may assume the closer's role for the Tigers right out of the gate, as manager Jim Leyland said he would use Valverde in a save situation Wednesday if needed, Chris Iott of MLive.com reports.
Spin:
Leyland did not officially name Valverde his closer, but it looks like he will be the one getting the ball in the ninth inning moving forward. Valverde may still be a free agent in some leagues, but on the heels of Leyland's comments, that probably won't be the case for long.

With you on guitar...another tragically under appreciated guitarist...

But bass? Justin Chancellor...and I really see no close competition...there are few bassists that can carry a 7 minute long song...he does a few every Tool Album...

and Sebastian Bach >>> Mike Patton

I hate Tool, and never considered any of them for anything. I prefer a 2 minute song to a 7 minute song.

I was going more for a punk feel, not a band like Tool. Cant get much better on bass than Mike Watt, if you want that kind of music.

Of course, if you ask 20,000 people, very few people would have the same lineup.

I like Sebastian Bach.

Don't they deserve some points for innovation? Or the decades of influence?

Zeppelin literally redefined Rock...

Pre-Zeppelin: "She loves me yeah yeah yeah...she loves me yeah yeah yeah"

Post Zeppelin: "Generals gather in their masses....just like witches at black masses"

They proved hard rock/metal was marketable....and music was never the same...

Yes...Yes...

Agree...

Totally...

Mmmm...somebody else could have come along and did the same thing. The record execs were a big driving force in taking acid rock/metal into the mainstream; it's possible that they could have latched on to another band if Zep had never materialized. There was a time when they all thought the Kinks were going to redefine music; then they grabbed on to the next hot thing.

I have always liked Zeppelin, but I find them less palatable in my geezerdom. Same thing with my screen-name's inspiration: the 'Oo. I won't say Clapton/Hendrix/Page weren't talented, but there are several other guitarists from the era that I prefer, like Jorma Kaukonen, Mike Bloomfield, Alvin Lee, John Cippolina, and Toy Caldwell. Difference of opinion is what makes for a horse race.

I am not laughing the kid is a bulldog and knows how to pitch already not just throw..

Mets pen is horrific so the wins will probably be low but all the other numbers will be great.

Conn kid but i believe he is from the part of Conn who Heart NY
