The fact his band has been around for 20+ years and have yet to record a single song that didn't give me a headache...
I can't stand funk...and his bass style is VERY funk influenced...
Les Claypool is another in the same category....
..i was born in the 60s.....i remember the rams making their first super bowl....way before most in here were born.....
No kidding. The intro to Higher Ground sure sounds like it would be tough to play.
I liked Butch Husky.
...if there is a musical genre that lends to the bass is funk.....he basically makes most of their songs out of his badass bass lines.....
..claypool is more playful on the bass but he is also an awesome bassist.....he can come off as goofy which is why metallica didnt want him and claimed "he was too good".....uh huh.....
1979. i was pulling for them, which is why they lost
rush finally geting into the HOF and being recognized for their undeniable influence makes me happy
if anyone wants a good rock n roll "story of the band and their influence" see "beyond the lighted stage"

Uno you will be getting your first colonoscopy sooner than you think.
Wasn't bad except for the part where i opened my eyes after the anesthesia and saw my DR notching his belt, don't worry everything went alright he told me.
Early 60's for me
You talking Vince Farragoma at qb for the Rams or Roman Gabriel forgive my spelling..
I also liked Butch, as well as Bernard Gilkey. Back then I could get a seat for 6$ and have the whole section to myself. Good times.
they deserve it, but I hate those bastards
