AB & his agent are not allowed to seek trade. Meaning there is nothing his agent can do in this situation. The Steelers FO holds all the cards in this trade sweepstakes. The only thing AB can do to leverage the situation is to sabotage a deal by making himself appear too risky and force the team to back out. At least that’s what I understand. But I do know for sure that AB & his agent absolutely cannot negotiate with any teams.

Damn dude... I was wrong. Sorry about that bro! I had either misread an article or something got misreported when the Steelers said they were going to move on from Brown. I thought Browns agent was facilitating a deal but according to this article that’s not the case.

I still think though it’s a negotiation tactic to try and elicit more compensation for the Steelers.

Brown is 31 and his best days are most likely behind him.

Any team that is willing to give Pittsburgh a first round selection for Brown is desperate.

It'd be so much fun if they traded him to the Dolphins to watch him waste away.
The Rooney's should take him by airboat to the Everglades and tell him they're meeting the Dolphin's to sign the deal....Then shove him over.....

Referencing the other thread about the possible suitors for him.

I would love to see him in Carolina. Just imagine the sidelines after the numerous 3 and out series with him and Newton. They would have to build a flood system in Band of America to control all the tears from those two.

Not sure why anyone wouldn't wanna hire this guy?
Nothing bad could happen.

Just imagine the next team. If the Skins that ridiculous mustache would stay gold but the beard/hair would have to be burgundy.

If he went to the skins. Obviously he would have to cut a little tomahawk into his haircut.

Brown has gone on record that he doesn't need money or football, he could try to sabotage a deal by threatening to retire. What team would give a high pick for a player who won't show up? If he does that the Steelers should keep him and sit his ass, they get the cap hit anyway. If he makes a peep, fine him for conduct detrimental to the team and keep his money. Make this prick as miserable as possible.

The Saints would be loaded if they acquired him.

Would extend Brees career.
