I'll guess a second this year, and a conditional 2-5 next year, based on this year's production. Hope they can get a first, but doubt it at this point.
Please tell me this is just a tactic by the Steelers to add pressure to interested parties. Because the Steelers should NOT announce this until next Wednesday at the earliest.
IIRC they can’t even announce what the terms are until then if they put a preliminary deal in place. There’s no reason to announce anything until then, period.
AB will do everything in his power to sabotage the deal if it is “unsatisfying”. He wants to be a free agent or dealt to a team with a good QB. He won’t take anything less, even if he has no say in the matter. This saga could actually get worse if we can’t get anything of value for him and he’s still been making cringe worthy scenes on social media all week. It’s okay to agree on a deal by Friday but making an announcement would be reckless.
Keep. It. Under. Wraps
A first round pick from a garbage team that he ends up having a nervous breakdown on is the preferred solution here. It'd be so much fun if they traded him to the Dolphins to watch him waste away.
Uh they have Colt McCoy.I hope he goes to Washington with no qb
AB & his agent are not allowed to seek trade. Meaning there is nothing his agent can do in this situation. The Steelers FO holds all the cards in this trade sweepstakes. The only thing AB can do to leverage the situation is to sabotage a deal by making himself appear too risky and force the team to back out. At least that’s what I understand. But I do know for sure that AB & his agent absolutely cannot negotiate with any teams.I think it’s too add pressure and try to get more.
My understanding is that ABs agent is shopping potential deals within certain parameters the Steelers gave him (no deal with Pats, no deal within the division, etc). AB is simultaneously trying to 1) elicit a trade offer that is acceptable to the Steelers and 2) get a new contract.
By going public (ie better make your best offer now bc we are about to pull the trigger) it COULD be a negotiation tactic that benefits both AB and the Steelers. It could compel teams in the mix to increase compensation to the Steelers and increase money to AB. Those two things are not in conflict with each other. They are mutually exclusive. Also, maybe the team that is the current front runner is NOT the Steelers first choice of who to trade him to. They may be trying to get THEIR first choice to up the offer.
Bottom line is the Steelers have the final say. AB can rant and rave all he wants but it’s the Steelers who have to approve any deal brought to them.
What, dude's legit

Agree.What, dude's legit
Last year he had 3 TD passes. Only 40 other QBs threw more than him. In a nation of over 325 millions people, only 40 of them threw more TDs than Colt McCoy. Think about it.When was he legit???
marvin harrison in 06 top 2 in yards and tdsWith all the SportsHoopla surrounding AB, and now OBJ, it got me thinking ... who was the last team to win a SB with a top 5 (non diva) WR? Are they really that important? Seems like those type of receivers always think they are more than the team.
Mols always with a solid answer. So, 12 years ago? What about teams with diva WR? I didn’t word my question right. Guess I was trying to ask last team with diva WR to win SB?marvin harrison in 06 top 2 in yards and tds
