We should blow it up later then?

Since no one can probably understand what Pday is saying, FYI he is alluding to a post on our forums from a year ago in which I and others said the team needed to be blown up and Howie Roseman fired.

Apparently, Howie had a master plan for rebuilding the roster this offseason and it's worked quite well!

So, after another 15 games or so, we shouldn't blow it up?

maybe, after this year's SB, Howie (love this name BTW) gets a statue too?

So basically they are renting Robert Quinn for this season for almost nothing but had to sacrifice a fourth round pick to do it.
They're buying $7.1M of cash/cap space for a 4th, (which is a fair trade in itself), and upgrading from a scrub/back-up to a quality vet for free. This only makes sense for the Bears if they think Quinn is a $4M, (or lower value), player. Even if the Bears are right the Eagles can cut Quinn at any time before the 2023 season.

Makes sense they are leveraging for 2023 rather than a win now move. Especially if JuJu keeps up his pace. He'll be able to command 20M, or more, AAV.

Question is: Is Toney actually good when healthy or just was in a shitty situation?

I think if he doesn't flourish in KC then he'll have to accept maybe it's him.
Talent and accuse maker are what I know about Toney.
I suspect that's probably correct.

Lukewarm about this trade. Get the idea of trying to steal contract value, but I am not sure Toney is the dude to be betting that on.

Kadarious Toney is so good the Giants traded him for a 3rd and 6th a year after taking him in the first round. Even though they are thin at wideout. No red flags whatsoever!

He's about to be un-injured very quickly I suspect!

Toney was DAMN impressive when he was healthy.

IMO KC didnt really make this trade for this season. And they didnt make it because of Juju. Toney is the guy that replaces Hardman next year. And by his 4th year Toney will be a lot better version of what Hardman is this year.

This is a steal of a trade. Not completely surprised the Giants gave him up for so little because he clearly was planning not to play for them. But very surprised that there weren't better offers than this from other teams. It is just laughable that a guy like this can be had for a 3rd rounder while guys like Christian Kirk are making $18m a year.

Forget the RB's dont matter talk. The new argument the last 3 years in the NFL is whether it is worth it or not to value and pay top dollar for vet WR's. And with this move and the Hill trade earlier, you can see what side of the argument that the Chiefs are coming down on.

Chiefs have a massive need at Punt Returner right now so assuming Toney can do that his skillset should be perfect for that.

I already have a ton of posts about Toney. He fits in well with Andy Reids style and has been rumored to the Chiefs in drafts and trades for awhile. The question becomes - can he stay on the field? Giants probably have the coach of the year. I think history is on the Giants side but it's the perfect spot for Toney
