And of course, Biogenesis is the only clinic in operation, right? There aren't any other MLB players receiving PEDs from other clinics right now. Yeah, right.

Well right now it seems like this is the only clinic agreeing to help the MLB out

But the Yankees will void his contract. If they don't, the old man will come back from the grave.

Is it in the contract that it could be voided with a second (??) strike?

If it isn't in the contract, I hope the clan Steinbrenner enjoys continuing to cut huge checks.

From what I understood, the Yankees could choose to void the contract after the first offense but would have to battle the players' union. My guess is that a second (and third) violation would result in no defense whatsoever left for A-Rod.

Ouch..

so they are going for the death penalty on A-Rod...

Still interested to see the explanations on Melky, Colon and Grendal.

I had totally forgotten about Bartolo. I'm just confused by how this is a separate violation from the original?

Okay, I must be missing the obvious. Regarding Melky Cabrera and Ryan Braun, this offense is separate from their first suspension? If so, they should really get allot more than 100 games. A-Rod should be banned for life today.

Couldn't Grandel, Melky, and Colon admit that is where they got the substances in the first place? Play the double Jeopardy angle? Say they have already been punished for this..

I guess it seems the MLB is playing the "lying" angle.

There's obviously something we don't know yet.

I can tell you that there has been widespread bitterness against Grandal on the part of his teammates coming back from this suspension. Another violation will end his time with the Padres.

We'll see if these guys respond. No doubt they're busy trying to gather details right now.

Something amazing to think about is that Giambi has apparently stayed clean this whole time.

If this is indeed second and third violations for A-Rod (sure appears to be separate and distinct from his original shit) his teammates shouldn't even be asked to accept him back. If he ever makes it back, they'd be testing him 3 times a day and he wouldn't be able to perform without the juice.

Even as arrogant and egotistical as A-Rod is, he wouldn't possibly have the balls to come back from something like this...would he?

I think he would. Especially with that much money on the line. But the Yankees are gonna void the contract.

100 games each for Braun and A-Rod. I say the Yankees void the contract this time. :omg:
Contract can't be voided. They can try all they want but the strongest union on the planet won't allow it.

Then why was there so much discussion about whether the Yankees would do it before this even hit the fan?
