Could it be the nagging injuries affecting his performance? Unless we can assertively say that there is an inverse relationship between taking steroids and his performance, the logical inference is that for all these periods A-Rod never took steroids. The "without juice he cannot perform" meme.

Have you noticed a gorwing divide between players who juice and their innocent teammates? This might be one reason why.

Cheating? When did Buster Onley find out that taking steroids in baseball is cheating? If it is cheating why will baseball allow a self-confessed "cheater" to be a hitting coach? Considering the fact that majority of those busted and listed as taking steroids on Mitchell report should actually get their money back as with the exception of a few who were already very good, performance of steroids as elixir for home runs and hitting is actually abysmal.
