The only guy I don't want suspended is Evreth Cabrera. Because, it is all about me and my fantasy teams, right?

See, I still have questions about guys like him. Is this separate from his original case?

Just thought of something: Yasmani Grandal is out for the next 12 months with ACL/MLC. So I guess he just takes it, rehabs with no pay and hopes for the best later. And you know he's going to be soooo tempted to do HGH for healing.

I don't understand any of this.

The only thing that saved MLB in the 90s was a battle between some of the most juiced up athletes in sports history (Bonds/McGwire/Sosa to a lesser extent).

Until their big HR race happened, MLB was literally in its death throes for being "boring". It was exciting.

The NFL is exciting, too, largely because of roided up monsters colliding into each other.

Why are Americans tacitly for PED use in football, but not in baseball?

I don't get it.

Yeah, you know Bartolo is guilty as hell though, man. It's really not fair that this guy is in contention for the Cy Young. I hope they nail Melky to the floor as well as that sanctimonious bastard Ryan Braun. And A-rod needs the death penalty or this thing is a sham. That's my :2cents:

It won't surprise me at all if he is but for now he's a player that has served his time and is allowed to be on the field, it's amazing to me how good he's been being so out of shape it's like something out of bad comedy movie but as effective as he's been of course there are doubts and rightfully so.

I don't think MLBPA is going to go down without a fight, you can't suspend players from baseball for lying if so Selig should be banned from the game for his lies about with regard to his " blue-ribbon committee ".

:agree:

While I don't condone any of these guys juicing you listen to the writers talk about McGwire, Sosa ect and the Hall of Fame like there should be no conversation about it the thing is many of the writers wouldn't even have jobs if it was not for that home run race that put the game back on the map.

Baseball suffered a lot after the 1994 strike, they had Cal Ripken Jr break the consecutive games streak but introduced gimmicks like interleague play to try and win fans over but it was not until the McGwire - Sosa epic home run race that got people interested again.

Yes pulling back the curtain we can see that Maris or if you prefer Ruth have the pure records to this day in my mind but at the time it put butts in the seats and eyes on the television screens.

Bonds would follow with his own monster season knocking 73 home runs, I think at that point people willing to come back to the game already had that season probably the greatest ever offensive season for a player did lack some of the drama because there was not another player chasing down the record along with him Bonds was in his own world.

Baseball may hate PEDs and be overreaching here to try and nail players for lying, catching them cheating to me is another matter but were it not for PEDs in the 90's the game as we know it might be much less significant in the sports world.

The landscape of sports to be cleaned up in the NCAA and all the major sports even the PGA has had players like Tiger Woods calling for testing, it's a shame there are so many young athletes looking for an edge even at the high school level they are risking their health doing what they know guys earning millions upon millions of dollars do.

That's awesome, it wasn't my work but one I use whenever discussing Colon. My photoshop skills are not that strong.

Does A-Rod already have 2 strikes?

I also believe that Grendal, Melky and colon were all hit last year with this info playing into their cases, so they should not get hit again for this, right?

Braun's first offense was nullified, so this should TECHNICALLY be his first strike.

I don't think that ARod has any strikes. His initial "outing" was a leak of a non punitive screening :noidea:

I was so disgusted that over a hundred years of baseball tradition had been shit upon, that I turned my back on baseball and never watched a game until last year. Now, baseball is little more than an after-thought.

I say 100 games isn't enough for either of these cheating, bitches. Braun has already tested positive and any fans that believed his bs story are morons. As far as A-Rod, I can't believe I ever liked this piece of shit. I hope he's done for good.

But no one cares that Hank Aaron, Willie Mays and others used amphetamines.

Good point, and this is a debate that will go on forever. Like the old saying goes, "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'".

I just can't stand Braun for throwing that poor guy who fucked up under the bus.
