the reason I mentioned V Mart in MVP voting...where would the Tigers be with out him?
with Miggy hurt..he has been a force. just pointing out what a great year he is having.
He never is 1 pitch ground out batter like about 4 tigers in the line up. He battles every AB. makes the pitcher work! aint no way he is on PEDs. its his best year. using his whle career and knopwing what the pitcher will throw.
UNLIKE Torii Hunter. how can a guy with that much experience go up to the plate with men on base..and almost always swing at the first pitch?? and GIDP????? Hunter isn't to smart. pure talent and that's has been fading every year

*OBP not OPS and again the OBP is like a good games worth better because Altuve doesn't walk.

Also scoring runs as to do with the guys behind you but also being a good base runner. Brian Dozier has been hitting .230-.240 all year and has like 3 homers the last two months but leads the league in runs scored.

Mike does have Albert driving him in but as Dozier shows there is a lot more to it then just good hitters.

I was just stating that even if Altuve was on say the Tigers or Royals he wouldn't be anywhere near Trout in MVP voting. He does actually have a couple more doubles than Trout but obviously way, way less EXB hits.

Nobody else. He deserves it by far over everyone this year. I guess theres still a month so if felix or donaldson really have monster months and trout disappears, otherwise its trout.

Tigers wouldnt be as good, but hes nowhere near as valuable to the tigers as trout is to the angels. The tigers offense goes and flows with miggy, not vmart. I would still consider miggy the mvp on the tigers.

great point, Torii Hunter had a "majical" resurgence batting next to Miggy, just like Vmart...Hell JD Martinez is getting some Miggy effect hitting. There isn't a team in the league with a "miggy effect" type situation....Miggy is the only player that others fear on the Tigers and they finally aren't going to let him beat them...pitch to the other guys, any of them, as long as they aren't named Miggy.
