Ah, didn't realize he was injured for a month BEFORE he went on the DL. And has been injured since he came back.

Must have happened while he was walking 5 guys against Detroit a couple months ago.

It's a shame the organization hasn't recognized it yet.

Interesting that the Royals have done such a good job in using WD-40 to get that "window" open that a few proclaimed closed. I also have noticed the dearth of attacks against Ned Yost this summer. What a WS Championship can accomplish. I think if Smokes Leyland had won one, he might still be the Tiger's manager.

(Or Jumbo Gene Lamont or Legendary Lloyd would have gained enough "glow" to have taken Leyland's spot when he retired to a thunderous round of applause from the same Tiger fans who wished him cancer.)

Yep. His injury is what kept him from pitching in the All-Star Game a month BEFORE he went on the DL.

Well, they certainly have recognized it, but it's a shame they didn't give him a couple, two-tree rehab starts in the minors. I'm not sure what the rush was there.
