I feel sorry for doug. Stuff like what is happening in Cleveland to the Tigers (as well as only Miggy being selected to AS team) really messes with his rainbow and cotton candy view of things. You'd think he'd learn...but he keeps leading with his chin.

Detroit is among the teams involved in the close Wild Card race now. I am sure Illitch wants to add a name ($) to the team by the end of the month. Question will be, how? I am not sure Moya can land the team a real ''game-changer'' in return. Too many red flags (defense/strikeouts) to get much in return.
Should be very interesting to see what the Tigers can pull off this month.

I don't consider a 4th-5th starter or a good reliever (not a closer) a game changer.

But I look forward to Moya being traded. He's absolutely brutal in the field.

Today should be a tough matchup. Fulmer's been pitching really well lately. Then again, so has Tomlin. Fulmer hasn't been going particularly deep in games recently, so maybe if the Tribe can hang on and make him throw a lot of pitches they can get into that Tigers' bullpen.

I have to drive through that shit hole state of yours this afternoon, so I'll have time to listen to the game. I hope it's a good one. Either way though, it will be nice to see all the cars with the Old English D decals and know they're the Indians' property.
