So....for doug to be correct, the Tigers need to take today's game as well as Wednesday's. Let's see how Doug's prediction works out.

If Moya keeps hitting, there's a real nice reliever or a 4th-5th starter in return in a couple of weeks. And I'm sure Mr. I would be willing to add a little payroll, again.

And Miggy hasn't even put the team on his back yet. He's waiting. Patience is a virtue. And he's virtuous.

Doug...I have not even mentioned playoffs. All I have been talking about is your AWFUL predictions and the amount of times you have been wrong.

However....with doug's track record on predicting Tiger's wins (and other sports predictions he has called wrong) I fear his predicting a playoff scenario for Detroit can only be bad news for Tiger fans.

Detroit is among the teams involved in the close Wild Card race now. I am sure Illitch wants to add a name ($) to the team by the end of the month. Question will be, how? I am not sure Moya can land the team a real ''game-changer'' in return. Too many red flags (defense/strikeouts) to get much in return.
Should be very interesting to see what the Tigers can pull off this month.

Doug...that was sarcasm. NO ONE thinks Verlander belongs on ANY All Star team. But, the fact that Cabrera was the only Tiger picked, could be a learning experience for you. It could give you a better idea how the rest of the country views Detroit Tiger players.
