They weren't particularly high average or high contact which made the high RISP numbers look even goofier as I recall as well. Seeing Sano (and the apologists for it cough Ted cough) in RF is just rich though. Just not a very well managed team top to bottom, imo.Twins had a lot of luck with RISP last year.
They suck, but they're not this bad. Mauer looks good right now. Of course, it's all his fault.
Yeah, he is getting up there in age. And the stats don't paint a picture of improvement either- he has a BABIP in line with his career number, and he's hitting more balls that fall in the Soft % and less balls that fall in the Hard % than his career numbers. Still, I expect him to improve, and it's not like he's been absolutely awful- he does have a 120 wRC+ this seasonMiggy Cabrera has looked like pretty much the average ball player so far this year. Power/SLG numbers are down. Not squaring up a lot of balls. You have to wonder if age and a bunch of small nagging injuries are catching up with him. He isn't pulling a Justin Upton on Detroit, but he has not been the "presence" in the middle of the order - at least so far in 2016.
I look for Verlander to be razor sharp tonight. ..Again
Man what the hell is up with your fantasy team man?The Royals lineup is in line mostly with what it did last year with the splurges of Hosmer and Moustakas mostly cancelling out mildly above average numbers from Cain and Gordon vs their 120+ wRC totals from last year. Morales however has been just frightfully bad. May have to platoon him and Cuthbert if this keeps going on long enough. Jorge Bonifacio may get called up if someone doesn't take the RF job as well.
Fell on my face during that draft from what I can tell. Lot of the hitters I was hoping to do well have flopped like fish so far.Man what the hell is up with your fantasy team man?
Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about Price; 12.19 K/9 and a 2.44 BB/9David Price having a 6 ERA is my favorite "flop" so far. Everything I touched in that draft sure seemed to turn into shit. Even Miggy isn't doing Miggy things.
Baseball gods like trolling me in this league so far. At least that's what I tell myself.Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about Price; 12.19 K/9 and a 2.44 BB/9

The Indians suck ass
