Verlander was pretty sharp. The Indians usually smack him around more than he's used to, but he held them to two.

Josh Tomlin holds the vaunted Tigers' offense to just a run, proving that like Doug, they have no heart. What is this world coming to?

Meanwhile the wild showed HEART and stayed alive. While the Sharks won a 3 straight road game and advanced.

I thought doug would be here praising Verlander, to the max, for a well pitched game and how some unlikely twist of fate stole the game from him.
This was JV of old, doug!!!! Cy Young!!! (Sadly, it is just as likely the on his next start he gives up seven runs in 5 innings.)

The Tiger offense better wake the f*ck up or I'll be sporting some avi with Chief Wahoo on it. 1 run over the last two games. Horrible, impatient at-bats. I looked up at one point in the 6th inning last night, and Tomlin had thrown a whopping 65 pitches. Not even making the pitchers work right now.

I looked up at one point in the 6th inning last night, and Tomlin had thrown a whopping 65 pitches. Not even making the pitchers work right now.

Upton is being thrown pitches on the outer half of the plate, and he isn't making contact with them. And Cabrera? He has had slumps before, but it is the lack of hard hit balls that is bothering me. He complained that injuries did not allow him to drive the ball last year. Have those injuries popped up again and the team isn't talking? I know...Tiger fans have always said....'our Latin players don't hit until it warms up'. We shall see, I suppose.
