4th sounds good, and it was a fantastic season, but the reality is that he was a lot further from the MVP than his finish would have you believe. There were 32 first place votes, and Upton netted one of them.

Yeah.. but he was 23... My point is he is just entering his prime... and another season similiar to that one isn't out of the question when he is in a lineup where he most likely will be hitting behind either miggy or vmart and in front of jd martinez.

It's not out of the realm of possibility, but that forth place finish was five years ago, and he's only had one year with even a baby bit of MVP consideration since.
