I honestly am putting my money on the White Sox to sign Upton... and When they do they will have the best lineup in baseball.

I was getting excited when they were said to be going after Cespedes and Gordon. Gordon's back to KC, obviously. Cespedes seems to be really holding out for a long term deal, which I don't think the White Sox are willing to cooperate with. It appears they're waiting to see who's market drops the furthest, and then they'll pounce.

I'll believe the lineup is that good when I see it. I was fooled far too easily last year into believing they were going to contend. Since the World Series win, they've just failed to meet expectations too many times.

We'll see how Frazier does transitioning to the AL. Dunn and LaRoche fell straight on their face. Hoping he breaks that trend for us.

Be glad they didn't sign Gordon. He is 32 years old and his defense wouldn't have the same value in the much smaller park for the White Sox. Cespedes or Upton will sign with the White Sox or they will make a trade for an outfielder... The lineup the White Sox has is good as is... and they are actively trying to improve it. I think the White Sox are going to be a lot better than what many think.

I always thought Gordon was way too over-hyped. Decent player, but not a great one.

He is worth much more to KC than he is to anyone else. The only team that can justify paying a 35 year old Alex Gordon 23 mil is KC... and even they are going to be wishing they were not doing that.

I'm with you on that doug. I am sure Brady will get the footballs inflated to the pressure HE likes. He and Belichick will go over the stolen Denver tapes of the Broncos' practice and then make sure those envelopes of $$$ get to the proper people.

Upton isn't winning any MVP, maybe strikeout title if he can wrestle it from JD.

$22 mil - hell he might not even have the best numbers on his own team out of 3 OF, its fair market value though, could be a steal if he outhits Cespedes.
