Comparing a deal handed to a guy that was a former MVP and Cy Young winner to a guy that is a pile of shit is comical. Verlander will be better than Kennedy til the day he retires.

Sanchez when healthy is light years better than Kennedy. The only reason I would agree is the injury risk.. but remember that Sanchez deal is up after 2017.

When healthy doesn't happen though.

I think if KC needs to, they'll be able to eat 3mil a year over the last two-three years of his deal and ship him to somebody that needs a vet. They're in win now mode. And you have to overpay for guys when you go that route, imo.

Inthink he's a huge difference maker tbh. 200 innings would take a lot of burden off the bullpen.
