its a pretty easy one since the royals rotation was such hot garbage last year and its basically the same with a guy coming off a 4+ era and 31 HR given up season being added to it.

mike pelfrey and ian kennedy are coming off similar seasons.. are the same age... and mike pefrey got a 16 mil contract and ian kennedy is going to almost make that in year 1 of his 5 year deal... LOL.

I'd say it's better right now than it was this time last year. Cueto was a big add. Prolly will target another vet via trade at the deadline.
